1) 10875 - A small French green shell bell striking mantel clock with fine
engraved brass boulle inlay with visible sunburst pendulum, c1870.

2) 10735 - An 8 day bell striking mantel clock by Japy Frere, with self
levelling pendulum in a mahognay case with inlay.
Height 12". Price £595.

3) 10830 - A French engraved boulle and tortoiseshell
inlayed mantel clock with a cast gilt dial and enamel cartouche numerals, the 8
day striking movement made by S. Marti et Cie c1890.

4) 10928 - A small rare French black and brass
(Boulle) 8 day bell striking mantel clock of fine quality by S. Marti. The
waisted case has ormolu mounts and a glass panel to the front with visible
sunburst pendulum. The 3" dial has individual enamel cartouche numerals.

5) 10905 - A small rare French red shell and Boulle
(brass) inlayed bell striking mantel clock with fine engraving to the brass
work, with a white enamel and blue numerals. This clock made by Vincenti of
Paris. C1880.

6) 10926 - A very good quality eight day quarter
chiming (Westminster) and hour striking bracket clock retailed by Reid and
Sons, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in an 18th century style oak case with pad top and
brass side frets c1900.

7) 10921 - James Beck, 5 Sweetings Alley, Cornhill,
London, 1815-1823, Freeman of The Clockmakers Company. An oak and mahogany
cased Regency bracket clock by this eminent maker with a 7 ½ " convex
white dial with strike/silent, five pillar, two train, fuse movement, striking
on a bell, with foliate engraved edging to the back plate. The case with
stepped top and brass framed panels to the front finely, cast floral side frets
with ringed side handles, and brass ball feet.
